Introduction: The most advanced approaches to process, model and interpret AEM data will be presented. A particular focus will be reserved to the crucial role of a correct AEM planning, Quality Control on the field, accurate decoupling and late time noise assessment, different inversion strategies (smooth, blocky and sharp), Cole-Cole modelling and use of apriori information. Some case-studies of mining, hydrogeology and environmental applications will be shown .
Resume: Antonio Menghini took a degree in Geological Sciences in 1989 (University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy). He is specialized in the processing of AEM data, with more than 10 years of experience worldwide, on many different geological settings, for mining, hydrogeological and environmental applications. He is currently working for Aarhus Geofisica (now EMergo). Just this year started a collaboration with NRG (New Resolution Geophysics, a airborne data provider based in South Africa), concurring to the birth of NRG Europa.
