Introduction:
The students taking this major mainly use the principles and methods of physics to observe, process, and analyze various geophysical field information by ways of electronic and information technology, ground and mobile platform detection technology (gravity, magnetic, electric, seismic, and well logging), to explore the medium structure, material composition, formation and evolution of the Earth's interior and surrounding space, and to study related natural phenomena and their changing laws. On this basis, we can optimize and improve the environment of human survival and activities, prevent and reduce the impact of earth and space disasters on human beings, and provide theory, methods, and technology for exploration and development of resources.
